The Seahorse is a lucky charm symbol of energy, strength, persistence, protection, friendship, generosity.
For many cultures it is a symbol of power: Asians considered it a type of dragon that brought good luck; the ancient Greeks and Romans associated it with the God of the sea (Poseidon for the Greeks, Neptune for the Romans), one of the most powerful on Olympus.
The mosaic was created with the direct technique on old wood.
Materials: Mixed Venetian smalti, antique Venetian white gold (24K gold leaf), artistic ceramics raku, Carrara white Italian marble, porcelain, recycled material.
